Any tips for crossing the river in The River level?

I have just started the River level and I am having troubles actually crossing. I tried with the A469 but got within 2 damages of engine failing and ended up getting stuck, then I tried with the B130 and broke its engine, and now all I have left is the C6522 and I am just wondring if anyone has any tips so I don't have to restart this map ;]

Usually I take the ZIL-130 (B130) to the bottom right of the map where the Orange Kamaz Truck is located (C6522) then I take the C6522 back to the starting garage. I add on the garage trailer (which unlocks garages in one trip) and then I drive to the bottom right of the map again to unlock the garage located there. Then I repair the C6522 and take another trailer through the river where I've shown you on the map. If you explore the other side you'll realise that theres 2 garage to be unlocked there too! Try some strategies and good luck!

Wow thanks! I actually found another route across, by the buildings on the paved side. You have to hop to an island, and the jeep takes a ton of damage but can get across. Thanks again.

I just completed the objective on the paved side, and I think I am going to try the other place to cross now, not sure if it the best idea to cross with a load as my first time crossing, but why not? :D

youll make it ! just beware tho, there a part that is deeper when you close to get on the other side (south side) if your a litttle to much to your perfect route, dont panic, youll probably immerge completely a bit but the ground stay fairly leveled ;) so youll be able to power your way underwater for couple of meters ;) Good luck :D

That's not a C-6522, it's a C-6520. No AWD.

I see. That explains why I'm stuck. Looks like I'll have to try something else since I have all the vehicles from this side of the map and that isn't one of them.

Try to cross with the B-66 (no equipment needed) and go to the garage in the NW. There you'll find a C-255. It has the crappy highway wheels on, but it can make the trip back to the spawn garage without too much hassle. I usually pass the river much further to the west than Ethanyl described.

I just did it by using the B-66 to cross at the point JokeDindon suggested and collecting the C-4320 which is nearby. I then used the C-4320 with garage parts and trailer to cross the river at the same point and unlock the NE garage in one go. After that it's just a nice paved road to the last garage, so there's a strategy that works for anyone interested.

Has anyone ever managed to get the C-6520 with a garage semitrailer across the river?

I tried the crossing suggested here, but no luck. That thing gets stuck as soon as it hits the river.
