Are any of these implemented in Spintires or MudRunner right now? I don't think so but i didn't play the games in a long time so i maybe wrong
To me it is no surprise that the game stalled for so long. The fact its now back in development, shows that the community for the game is extremely strong. Otherwise it would be a wasted effort for a "dead" game. With the playerbase the game actually has, its entirely possible for it to get a "second wind" and move forward now with some proper polishing.
After that is anyone's guess.
Two days ago, I thought to myself: Hey, there is this new Chernobyl dlc out now and you really like Prypjat and its history, so why not try it again? Maybe you can find one or two friends who may play with you online...
And, what can I say? We are having a blast. It is so much more fun in multiplayer (when you can chat with your pals via TS in the meanwhile)... I'm glad, I am back on it.
The story of games development the world over. Money talks. Why else do companies buy-out Dev's for exclusives... Mechwarrior 5, fable, Gears of War even beta max vs VHS and so it goes. Pavel's getting paid and a steady wage, that's all that matters to him, like us all.
And fans gonna be fanboys. I say the companies with approach like that can grab cash from kids, but not from those who work for every single penny. If you think this is not a cash grab, please feel free to send me 5€ every month since it looks like that amount is nothing to you or you don't earn your game spending money by yourself.
Every single € which i put into this developing (spintires or mudgrab), is more than this company deserves.
Complaining about content that is £2.50, shows you yourself do not earn your own money. I spend more than that buying magazines for the kids.
Calling it a cash grab is nothing more than sour grapes and hater attitude. You already paid for the game, so why are you pissed they are improving it?
Sry to say I'm 44 and that was the right card i threw. Reviving the game after long gone is complete money grab no matter what you thing. Go buy another Krasnyarsk DLC where there will be new leafs on the threes and some new log textures. I said what i wanted to say. Improving? It should be polished like this long time ago.
That is a kids attitude. So grow the hell up, and just admit you wanted the DLC for free and didnt get it so you are pissed. That is the only reason to complain. Otherwise it is just plain moronic.
I wanted DLC for free? Hell no. I'm not even installing this money grabber anymore. Stick your head in your behind like you are doing already and pay for half product. But this is not me.
Back in days (if you are really old as you say) ... the game were released and if there were any fixes ... they were for free. GTA5 for example do all upgrades and such for free. They develop new game for new income as it should be. Not some Russian guy with new cabin texture waiting to grab some extra $$. Nope....and nope ...
So yeah its just that you are pissed you did not get free content. I have no qualms paying for content I intend to use. Whining about a one time £2.50 payment for in game content is asinine.
Rocket league charges £2 for a single car and it has NO differences from stock in game content other than visually. But Oovee asking for the same money for a new map with new gameplay elements, new trucks, and new add-ons is £2.50. Go complain that Rocket League is a cash grab and see how far that gets you.
Clearly you have no money or you would not complain. I bought this game and its DLC for the cost of a Dominoes take away pizza. I don't have buyers remorse like you have. I got exactly what I expected and paid for.
