First Person

I want to buy the game and watched some videos. Some players had first person and some other hadn't. My question is: Can i play in first person.

You can play in plenty of semi-first person modes in modded trucks in ST. Some bulldozer vehicles (with tracks i add) have you in perfect first person mode or with the driver model in place Though it's a complete waste of time in this type of game, it really is. Great for about 2 mins just to 'imagine' your looking out the cab. Other than that you have to drive externaly to get around rocks,branches and see the water depth. Plus you can't reverse internally, -same goes for Mudrunner's camera it's a simple look left right and you can't look out the side window to the rear or down like in ETS2 or ATS window. It's a cosmetic thing that wasn't meant to happen, otherwise it would have existed from the beginning. What has been wanted is *better* variations of cameras -like ETS2 or ATS- but again it might or might not happen. Believe me, internal camera isn't important as you might think, it's not a racing game. How often did you use internal in GTA# not very often i bet. Pretty much most footage is external to see ahead and turnoff's

I disagree with the notion that the cockpit camera is useless. Yes, you will have to switch camera positions frequently but the cockpit camera works perfectly fine in the new game and is a very welcomed addition. That said, everyone should just get the new game. It looks much better, has quite a few quality of life changes and is the only one that will be supported in the future.

Michel, to answer your question: you have cockpit camera per default in the new game "Spintires: MudRunner"
