Still, that showed it's not that complicated to do so and I really would like to know the reason why they refuse to allow users to upload maps to Workshop.
You shouldn't be touching the Media.zip file. Mods should be installed in the Media directory.
Interesting, I did not know this. We should keep bugging them. This is horrible customer service.
I've noticed this with trucks, too. One of my subscribed trucks is no longer on Workshop but I still have it in my game.
Nevertheless, I'm sure oovee could work something out with Steam and allow entire maps to be available in Steam Workshop.
What's wrong with that? If there's an option for having one click-download why not use it? I don't see your logic here. Not to mention how easier would be to play MP. You get into lobby > see a map you don't have > simply click and download it, same as trucks. No need for going to browser, downloading map, copying files etc.
So maps would have to be approved by someone before going online. But who will do that? OOVEE? *lol*
Solution would be to allow only maps WITHOUT custom objects....but who wants this???
