Play with xBox 360 Controller

So i had problems playing with the 360 Controller. It seems like a bug introduced by Microsoft prevents the game from reading right Stick inputs, making it impossible for you to shift gears or move the camera.
I got arround it by using Big Picture mode and this Config:

steam://controllerconfig/263280/920226818

It's not perfect, you have to push the left stick everytime you finished shifting to be able to control the camera again and in the map you might want to use the mouse anyway.

Neither do I. (Edit: It's a Gamestop replica)

But that doesn't mean there can't be problems for other people.
In fact, it's pretty useless to know that it works for the two of us :)

yeah, i was looking for a solution for hours, so i thought i'd post what helped me to help others with the same problem as me.

I had a similiar problem with another game aswell. Strange enough it works just fine when using the Steam Link.
I also can't turn off GameDVR in the xBox App for Windows10, because the app won't recognize the connected controller.
