How do I get power at pioneer mining station?

I got to the mining station, and went to the basement where I found the stabilizer plate, but I cant find the power generator Im suppose to put it in.

Is the generator in another station?

Yeah, the generator is in the Pioneer Station, which is to the left of where the pod lands. There are 3 pieces you need to find, a stabilizer plate, a hypercapacitor and a beryllium sphere. I suppose it is a bit confusing since the generator in the pioneer station powers both locations.

I have all 3 pieces installed, and swapped out the bad plate. But I can't figure out how to flip the switch on? I've been clicking on the switch in any way I can, but nothing has worked so far.

Hmm, and none of the pieces are damaged? It should be the "Beryllium Sphere" (not the "Ruined Beryllium Sphere", the "Hypercapacitor" (not the "Blown Hypercapacitor"), and the "Stabilizer Plate" (not the "Corroded Stabilizer Plate").

I believe that should be found in the mining base to the right of the area that the pod crashes. Have you checked in that area?

So where is the robot chicken? I have looked everywhere in the main pioneer base but have been unable to find him, do I need to unlock it somewhere?

If you run all the way to the left or all the way to the right, you will eventually end up right back where you started. During that trip you SHOULD come across the Giant Robot Chicken....along with a few other neat surprises...

Maybe some indication of that could be a low priority thing to add, like some power pylons in the background or something?
