If by "safe code" you're referring to safe inside the closet that you unlock with the key, then you should notice that there's a note with a quote from a certain book. Perhaps there's a copy of this book in the room..?

Yes I'm talking about this chest but I don't see anywhere the correspondence with abie or the code that I know... but I'm not going to say it here.
Here are some more clues:
On the safe, you can find a piece of paper with a quote from a book. You can find that book on a bookcase in the main room. When you examine it, you should notice that certain letters are marked. Perhaps the same method of decyphring you used before would be of use?

I just understood, I accidentally concluded the opposite and I added it so it was not good but having put 2 almost identical words, for me in French made me make this mistake. Thank you for your time. It's me who thought badly.
I really needed this. I understood the logic of the alphabet but it never came up to me to use this word. I don't know if there is a way to make this clearer to the player. The rest was fine.
