Labor Solar Panels Lab

In need of serious help here. I can't complete the solar panels lab to let PHYSIS land in the desert. Getting over 32MW does nothing. And I can't get 32MW exactly due to not being able to place the first generator in the list anywhere on the map that gives the max power of 4MW.

Am I missing something here? Please help me

once you get over 32MW just click the X in the top right corner. Thats what I did and it seemed to work.

I have to admit, the solar panel lab felt very poorly done compared to all of the other labs :/

Thank you so much. I'm glad I was able to complete the game and see the ending. I sincerely enjoyed this game, even with its kinks.

Alas, I've tried this lab many, many times now. My young children have utterly lost interest in the gane, which is a real shame after the extensive hard work we've put in as a family. This final lab was a hot mess - items that stop responding to clicks, a horrid control system and the routine that detects when you've got over 32MW seemingly works only intermittantly. I've had the lab tell me twice that I have succeeded, and then sit there doing nothing. Pressing the X cancelled the lab.. Back to square one again. We've loved so much about this game, despite some of the poor control choices, iffy translation and a oouple of the science questions actually having incorrect answers. Unfortunately this is the last straw - a game you cannot finish is the ultimate dissapointment, and I couldn't reccomend this to anyone :(

For me there were buttons below the solar power plant list that I could click (while not actually seeing any buttons) but they were used to do the solar efficiency scann thingy and on the success screen that followed continued to the end. Yeah it took me a couple of attempts to find the invisible buttons and I only found them by accident as I was just annoyed and clicked around in hopes to make it respond.

I also seem to have hit a brick wall here. Some of the icons for placing the panels don't respond. I can move things up or right and only occassionally place them, power connections are a complete no go. Again a real shame having come so far in the game.

To whomever plays this game up to this point, the icons don't allow you to place panels on slopes.
The power lines can only be extended across certain paths towards the middle and you have to backtrack to find them. A correct line will power up and your energy level will raise.

Workaround for solar panels lab bugs:
1. The controls won't work if you play this game in modern screen resolutions. Quit the game and set your screen resolution to 1024x768. Start game and complete the puzzle.
2. Ok and Check-buttons might still be invisible but they are there. The check button is horizontally centered below the power plant list. The OK button is south-east of the bottom right corner of the main panel.
