Are those taunts all actual narwhal sounds? Or have they been altered much? The really low roar-like one is halarious. Awesome job. ;D

Earth narwhals make really weird Geiger counter clicks, mostly. Out in deep space, majestic STARWHALs transmit sound psychically (as no medium for the transmission of acoustic energy is present in a vacuum). Technically, all audio in our simulation (including the music) is made by STARWHALs. For the game's taunt specifically, Breakfall created a sound effect mostly by mixing synthesizer effects with the heavily processed voice of sound designer Mike Keogh. I would have to check source recordings for a list of other animals which may have been included in some variations. But ultimately some of the most overtly synthy-sounding clicks (which are layered subtly into those sounds) are the closest and most directly narwhal-inspired elements.
