Full Controller Support?
So I absolutely love this game. Played the browser version a bunch of times with my friends. It was even cooler that the browser version had controller support (we normally play 3-player with keyboard, arcade stick, and xbox controller). I was so stoked this game was coming to Steam but was really sad to find out that it does not support controllers yet. I am really really hoping that it will come to Starwhal soon.

Hey hotdogfist - the game should work with an Xbox controller just like it did in the browser version!

It's not working for me, either. I was able to back out of the game with B, but none of the control sticks are functioning.

Oh, the game does support controllers!

We just didn't see that checkbox when we published. However, not ALL controllers are supported yet, however the most popular should be ok. We're hoping to add support for other controllers as soon as we can. Basically right now it's Xbox 360 controller support as well as some logitechs.

Thanks for showing your support, guys.

So my 360 controller doesn't work, but when I run the DS4 Xinput Tool, it works just fine. Which is a bit odd, because all that does is trick my computer into thinking my Playstation 4 controller is a 360 controller. Either way, got it to work, loved the browser version, love the addition of hats.

If any one has custom controllers that they want to use and it doesn't seem to work, just let us know what type of controller you have and we can try and get it working!

My Onza doesn't work, and it uses the same drivers as the official Xbox 360 controller.

Well, i thought my DS3-input controllers didn't work but i restarted the game and... works like a charm.
Loving the controller support.

Unity is pretty finiky with controllers. Make sure the drivers are properly installed, that the controllers are plugged in before the game is launched, and that it's an official Xbox 360 controller. We are planning on adding a wider range of support since switching out input methods.

@DeagleSeagull: That's pretty funny that the DS4 Xinput Tool worked.

My Xbox 360 controller works on the browser game but not in the steam game.

Same with my Xbox 360 controller, I'm using an Afterglow Xbox Controller but I used the Official Microsoft drivers when installing it. Can't even find axis 2 when setting it up in the controller setup.

My Logitech F710 isn't working.

My xbox 360 afterglow controller seems to have improper keybindings.

Currently in the most recent build we know that first party Xbox 360 controllers work on both OSX and PC. If the game isn't registering them you may have to restart the game. Also make sure the drivers are installed properly.

We ended up changing how we poll controller input in this version compared to the Web demo. Our plan is to start adding more controller support in the very near future. We will keep you guys updated when we have additional controller support!

I've got a RockCandy Xbox 360 controller, and I guess B was the only functional button, which was apparently binded as joystick-up :I

My razer onza doesn't work and it works immediately after plug in with every other game I've used. It only recognizes the A button as the right arrow key, nothing else
