windows 10 controller issues?

So I'm on windows 10 and I can't use my xbox one wired controller with the game. if it is the only controller plugged in it will work in the menu but when I go to select a game mode it will endless scroll through them. (tested multiple times). When a wired xbox 360 controller is plugged in as will the game will not even detect or use the xbox one controller. I'm assuming this is because of windows 10 since they say they support these controllers fully. both are official microsoft controllers.

A few other people have had this issue as well. Does this issue happen on any other game of yours?

no, this seems to be the only game. rocket league works fine. I'll let you know if i find others

This game only seems to support logitech (and similar controllers) as well as the Dualshock series of controllers. My 360 controller and my One controller both have issues in this game and work fine in others. Unfortunately we have to wait for an update. Hopefully sine the PS4 edition of Starwhal just came out they'll turn their attention to PC for a bit

Issue on Linux as well with xbone controller - just doesn't work anywhere in Starwhal though - not even the menu unfortunately

Haven't had issues so far with other games - even having 2 pads plugged to play local co-op on some, Battleblock theatre springs to mind as one that works great.. The Swindle (linux beta), Bastion, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Defense Grid 2, Clusterpuck, LIttle Racers STREET.. etc.

I didn't try big picture mode yet though.. did just think of that.. If it changes anything I'll post back.

i bought this game to play with my friends but OH only one xbox controller works. Great, can't play it like that. Please, devs, find a way to fix this. Btw I have 1x wired xbox360 controller and 1x wireless xbox360 controller. No other game has this problem for me. Rocket League, Nidhogg, Guacamelee and several other Local Co-op games work with those 2 controllers of mine. And I have windows 10, yes.

Bump. This is still a problem on windows 10. Plugging in any number of xbox one controllers causes the infinite scrolling to the left problem. Also tested with gamecube controllers fwiw and the same problem occurs.

Just bought the game and went to load up and having the same issue where the controller scrolls left endlessly unless I tilt the left joystick up which will freeze to whichever option was selected at first. Are their any fixes? I bought this game to play local and I'd hate to refund it.

I also have this problem with xbone controllers. I tested with two different ones both with wireless and wired.

I'm using windows 10.

360 controller with wireless dongle works, steam controller also works.

Same Issue with my wired XBox One Controller, but not with my Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers.
When I go into a menu or anything where you can select stuff from left to right, it constantly goes left.
