Any way to reduce Desire?

Every time I go to sleep for the next day, it says Rayne's desire increased and the bar gets longer. Is there a way to lower/prevent this or do I just limit the # of times I sleep?

if you go to the church, talk to the priest who can lower this for divine guadian energy points.

i cant even gain desire??
