How to update PunkBuster

Evenbalance dropped the support for call of duty 2.

Statement from Evenbalance:
"Activision has taken over support, contact them if you have questions."

Statement from Activision:
"Yes we took over support but are not really up to date on PB, I suggest you contact steam, they know more about this."

So the question is, how do you update your PB. You can't download PBSETUP because cod2 is not in the list.

Now i see that the masterservers are offline and people are getting kicked for duplicate guids etc.

This is an issue that needs to be addressed if scumbag Activision is going to keep their game on the market at a $20 price tag...

Steam needs to take this game off their store if Activision is going to steal our $$. Even though this is the best cod game they made, it isn't right to sell it if PB cannot be updated.

I can give you my old pbsetup, it has the latest cod2 version so it should work.

This is a temp solution, I contacted activision and they told me to contact steam, i made a ticket but no reply so far.

ps: !ALLWAYS MAKE BACKUP FILE FROM IMPORTANT THINGS! just to let u know that it still work with pbsetup 3.7 (u just have to remplace it(.exe only) inside the archive . (dont delete or remplace anithing else !! ))

Reinstall punkbuster and ask a friend for his up to date pb folder. If you have nobody that can help you, im willing to give my up to date pb folder.
