black screen on multiplayer

Single player works but mp doesnt and has a black screen.

Check integrity of files. If still doesn't work. Go to the Cod2Mp_s.exe located inside
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty 2\

Right click Cod2Mp_s.exe and click properties. Than go to compatability. Change the compatability to Windows Vista SP2

мне помогло в свойствах совместимости Cod2Mp_s.exe поставить галку - запускать прогу в режиме совместимости с Win 95

in the properties of compatibility Cod2Mp_s.exe put a checkbox - run a program in compatibility mode for Win 95

он имеет ввиду ж, когда на сервер какой-то заходит и черный экран, надо удалить лишние моды и карты. ИБО конфликтит!

Failed to find steam fix is easy fix. Locate Steam.dll and Steam2.dll inside your Main Steam folder and copy them. Navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Call of Duty 2\ and paste the two files inside the Call of Duty 2 folder.
