COD2 Out of Memory error
I try to log onto COD2 and it asks if I want to start in safe mode. I say no, and then get an "out of memory error" I increased the virtual memory, but it did not help. Running Vista 32 bit, HD7790 video card. I deleted the game and reinstalled it and still get the same message.
Anyone out there that can help? thanks!

Did you try to run it with administrator rights?

How do I run the game as admin? I tried to do it with the file itself in file browser, but it just kept saying "steam not detected" and automatically bringing me to the steam app download page. Is there a way to do it through steam?

Sorrry for the late reply; right click the Cod2SP.exe file and click
properties.

Click
compatability

look down and tick the box
run as administrator

click apply

click okay

now it should be admin rights when you launch from steam.

Also the game likes it when you restart it every 2 hours
