I could see why for the Russian missions because they have to wear tons of snow gear. But in the American missions!? (Just Played through the U.S Missions, I have a possible reason for "Fatness" The Germans were running out of good men, so they had Fat,Terrible at fighting people-ish)

nice theory but probably not true, you fight the american campaign in normandy and africa, back when germany still had good soldiers

I have a theory that infinity ward wanted to make the germans look fat and gross so you have more of a desire to kill them.

In Red Orchestra The Germans actually are the best looking soldier in the game [With the American Marines in a VERY close second] The Soviet Troops all look like they have downs-syndrome...
