There's a custom launcher made for newer Window OSs.

Forgot where to find it.

I get into the game but once I'm on server I see only hud with crosshair, etc. but the background is black.

Try turning off anti-aliasing.

Anyone able to fix this? After the last steam update Cod2 MP crashes Windows 11 upon start.

It loads into the game for me just fine - though I need to wait for like over 5 minutes.

Gives me a blue screen of death, everytime. Tried every solution except reinstall. Will do that this week.

Turn off AA(Anit-Aliasing) in the settings.
