Can you mod Call of Duty 2 for the better?

So I played through Call of Duty 2 and I was wandering if there are mods that improve the game feal or visuals? It feels a little clunky and there is no impact when you shoot someone. Also it looks like crap. I loved my play through but can you mod it to be better? Is there a mod list I can use to make it play better or even different?

Any mods that change the gameplay? Like when looking around corners with q and e it barly moves. So using it is pointless or how moving around feels off some how. I just don't know how to explain how it feels. It just doesn't feel good to move aim lean around corners, plus I can't sprint. Can't explain what I want I guess.

Don't mean to be rude, but you're playing an older, original Call of Duty game. Sprint function wasn't in these games (other than mods in MP mode). The gameplay hardly is "clunky", it's pretty smooth just as every CoD game is because of the engine they used and continue to use. So, I'm not too sure what you're asking for.

UO had sprint and it was before cod2

I recommend ou play either the Back2Fronts mod or Hard Core Tactical Mod. The former is an overhaul of existing features the other is like Insurgency.

As arrowtt33 had said, the format of the Original Game itself does not support these modern features you desire. However, the MODS do include so. Over the years people have modded the game to the point where there relatively is nothing else to create unless it down right could not be created before. Back2Fronts is definitely a standalone 4 star rating for me as it has done what has never been done before with regular modifcations to the game. I am a player of Cod2 since day 1 and still am playing and relataively own, between Xfire when it was around and Steam 15000 hours alone on Cod2 or more. Lost track after a long time. Still standalone mods do exist within seperate servers that have modifications for sprinting and other things such as mines, claymores, modern weps, etc. But slim exist now a days. In order for those mods and servers to return they would have to be in high demand, a lot of players, and players to purchase more servers to play. OUTLAW ALL WEPS is normally full quite often and still has mods + sprint. Sprint does not show your weapon but ts better than lugging around like a slug.
