"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Call of Duty 2 \ CoD2SP_s.exe"
At the end of the quotes, we will write this:
+ set fs_game mod1936sp
I can't add + set fs_game mod1936sp because I have an error that the name is incorrect.
If you had experienced any problems, you could have asked me. I am always available for any questions.
Anyway, I'm glad it finally worked for you.
Also on a side note, does this mod override the base game, or is it essentially an additional campaign and you can still play the base ones if desired?
To play this mod, you need to have Call of Duty 2. You don't have to buy it on Steam, if you get it in retail version for example, you can also install it.
The mod does not override anything. If you take a look at my guide, you will see how to install it.
I'll try and see if I can install the mod properly, but my only question is the install location. Unless I'm looking at the wrong place, my file location for Cod 2 doesn't say "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Activision \ Call of Duty 2 \". Do I need to change it to where CoD 2 is in my library? (All my Steam games are on my SSD, but that isn't an issue).
I wish someone showed a video of it being installed or something, because I can't even seem to tell what's up. My guess is I'm either picking the wrong files, or the shortcut isn't overriding/working with the base files.
I'm definitely listening and trying my best, the problem is something I can't see. That isn't on me, although I understand your annoyance here.
Yeah nah, same thing happening to me. I have followed every step EXACTLY but whenever I launch, the campaign is completely unchanged
