Wallhackers wallhackers...
Ok I'm quite new to COD 2 multiplayer but I've never encountered so many wallhackers in a game.

I'm very experienced in FPS games and I know the enemy can't hear you if you crouch but they still know exactly where I am, I look at the killcam and they just wait around the corner where I'm gonna come from, they always pre-aim at my location and follow me with thier aim though walls and buildings, so with that said, wallhack confirmed.

I play on non-modded servers only so yeah there's no admins or whatshowever, but I've NEVER encountered cheaters on COD1 and COD United Offensive.
I just come out of a game with 2 wallhackers at once, so why are there so many of them?

The Evenbalance company stopped the official Anti-Cheat (PunkBuster) support 2 years ago for Call of Duty 2. Thats mainly the reason for a lot of cheaters nowadays on CoD2. That game is also still very popular and that is also a reason for many cheaters.

In fact.. there is no cheat protection for CoD2 anymore. It became a cheater paradise + it's very easy to find and install some trash russian wallhacks and use them without being detected.

Sad to hear man, I wish they never took down Punkbuster&Gamespy, all those old games would be alot more alive then.

I played CoD2 for six years and I was also active in the competetive scene. I'm also sad about what happend to the game. It was a nice game to play years ago but now you can forget it.

I don't even understand why people would want to cheat. The playerbase is so small and its such a old game. I thought they would show some respect.

Many players in CoD2 want to win and be the best on the servers. Many of them can not loose. They can simply not handle a defeat. It's sad I know. Players who cheat have a personal problem with theirself.

I didn't notice any cheaters. I've played like 2 hours only though.

Well then keep playing ;) It's probatly the worst on non-modded servers.

I remember this one server, it had this one guy who played constantly. He won every game, TFD, FFA, any gamemode on there. I noticed he seemed to never die, no matter how much I shot him. He had godly accuracy too. I went to his profile and there were 2 VAC bans on record. Can't remember much else. It's just an experience I remember well.

And that's where most learn of cheaters in online games, witch some then use again as an excuse for every better player!
