Troll sword, troll armor?

Anyone know how we can get out of the precipice where we got the troll sword and armor?

Consensus 'round here is that they are indeed troll items, you're not supposed to leave, they don't even have an equip popup when you get them

After seeing how Matt likes to design things there was no question that he was literally trolling me. I cursed his name for a few moments and jumped into the pit.

Found out you can stack the armor and sword by entering and leaving the room and opening the chests over and over without collecting them. However, you cannot do anything. I'm still trying to find a way out of that room.

But that's the thing, there's no way out.

The Dev is just "Trolling" you by thinking you can somehow get out with the item. Nor does the game allow you to equip it on the fly like other items.
