I start the game, it load for few second then close down. I uninstall then reinstall and verify three times and still not loading up

I know this is a fairly old game at this point and the kinds of audience for this genre may be more tolerant than others, but seriously I had to go to bed more than 5 times throughout the play NOT because the puzzles or the storyline was boring, but I couldn't bear the slow pace of animations and repetitive conversations, which made me doze off. I am suspecting that allowing characters to run or walk faster would have cut down the playtime by 20% or so. Even...

Hi, Game ran perfectly yesterday, today I was offered a huge patch over 4GB! I installed it and now the game doesn't start anymore. Graphicsdriver has been reset, Windows has been restarted, nothing... When I start the game, the computer thinks for 5 secs and then brings me back to STEAM. No error message displayed. Compatibility mode doesn't work. Admin rights are given as well. Not sure what to do. AMD 5800X + RX6900XT + Windows 10 Pro + 32GB RAM. Any help?...
