THANK YOU for compressing your games. So many devs just stoped to compress as they should, and many games should be really, really less heavier than they are.

We're so so happy it makes a big difference to you! Having the game on mobile keeps us on our toes compression wise, haha! Thanks for being so nice!!

First, it was "Beyond the Steel Sky" getting some love. Now "Broken Sword 5" is getting the same treatment. You guys are just full of surprises! Great job! Hopefully there will still be enough manpower to work on the unannounced (but hinted :george:) Broken Sword 6. Fingers crossed! - Love from Malaysia -

Oh you're so sweet! Thank you for supporting Beyond A Steel Sky - we absolutely love that game. It's been so fun working on it, and now we're so happy to spend time checking up on our existing body of work across all platforms, which is in itself a quite ambitious workload for a small team like us :)

Subtitles are still very small. You can do better, just check your Vita version. ;-)
Does turning down the resolution work for you?

But why forcing re-download of almost 5 GB?
If game run okay before, now I cannot use it, because it needs update and I have very poor network connection now...
Oh nooo, we're so sorry.
Yes sadly when a certain amount of changes are being made, the game files have to redownload completely. We can't avoid it, and we're super sorry you are affected by it with your poor network connection. We are always very aware that this is the case for some of you, and work towards avoiding that whenever we possibly can.

Thank you for inventing that data compression thingy. I'm sure this png and jpg stuff will benefit more devs in the future.
lmaoooo yes we think it will go places

Bring In Cold Blood to Steam please
It's faaaaaar down our endless to-do list but yes it's something that would be cool!
We're super flattered you miss that game :) That's so sweet!

This is awesome! Just need my Q3 Deck to arrive.

Planning on playing through every Revolution title that I can. Wonder if it's time for my annual Beneath a Steel Sky playthrough yet?
Annual?? That's incredible!!! We don't know how we ended up with such a passionate community, but we feel absolutely blessed. Lots of love!

Also hoping for Broken Sword 6!
We're hoping for it too :P
But there is much work to be done, now that we are incredibly proud of where Beyond A Steel Sky is standing, we're going through our existing games on existing platforms and tidy up a little! You all deserve it!

When i was little, it was my dream to be able to play Broken Sword 1 and 2 on the go. Tried on phone and iPad but thats just not it, i think Steam Deck will be an ultimate Broken Sword gaming experience.
The Steam Deck is amazing! If you're into mobile games cause you need those buttons, this might just do the trick!

If Broken Sword 6 is really happening, here's hoping that it will be a 2D style game like BS1, BS2, and BS5. The artwork looks really appealing and nostalgic, and that's something no 3D graphics can replace at the moment. If budget is really tight, how about considering doing a kickstarter campaign? Double Fine's Broken Age successfully funded more than $1 million through that.

Also, may consider looking up Devolver Digital as a publisher. They seem to have a soft heart for classic adventure games, given how they greenlight a new Monkey Island, despite how impossible it seems after so long

Agree.

Hi there both!
Thank you so much for letting us know about your frustrations! We honestly didn't know. We thought our games would have text during their cutscenes when subtitles were enabled.
If you could point out which games exactly that would help a ton and we'll look into this. This might be excellent timing :)
Let us know!

allright, here the list of game that doesn't have any subtitles option at all for cinematic part:

Broken Sword: Director's Cut
Broken Sword 2 - the Smoking Mirror: Remastered
Beneath a Steel Sky

these are old games that is sure. but at least, please when you plan to release any old game, make sure to test them with subtitles on.
