We're so so happy it makes a big difference to you! Having the game on mobile keeps us on our toes compression wise, haha! Thanks for being so nice!!
Oh you're so sweet! Thank you for supporting Beyond A Steel Sky - we absolutely love that game. It's been so fun working on it, and now we're so happy to spend time checking up on our existing body of work across all platforms, which is in itself a quite ambitious workload for a small team like us :)
Yes sadly when a certain amount of changes are being made, the game files have to redownload completely. We can't avoid it, and we're super sorry you are affected by it with your poor network connection. We are always very aware that this is the case for some of you, and work towards avoiding that whenever we possibly can.
We're super flattered you miss that game :) That's so sweet!
But there is much work to be done, now that we are incredibly proud of where Beyond A Steel Sky is standing, we're going through our existing games on existing platforms and tidy up a little! You all deserve it!
If Broken Sword 6 is really happening, here's hoping that it will be a 2D style game like BS1, BS2, and BS5. The artwork looks really appealing and nostalgic, and that's something no 3D graphics can replace at the moment. If budget is really tight, how about considering doing a kickstarter campaign? Double Fine's Broken Age successfully funded more than $1 million through that.
Also, may consider looking up Devolver Digital as a publisher. They seem to have a soft heart for classic adventure games, given how they greenlight a new Monkey Island, despite how impossible it seems after so long
allright, here the list of game that doesn't have any subtitles option at all for cinematic part:
Broken Sword: Director's Cut
Broken Sword 2 - the Smoking Mirror: Remastered
Beneath a Steel Sky
these are old games that is sure. but at least, please when you plan to release any old game, make sure to test them with subtitles on.
