Haha i remember hearing that guy sneeze over and over again. All because of the goat!
The Goat puzzle... most annoying yet hilarious puzzle. I remember overthinking everything
I really hope Revoluton get on the ball with the second episode! The first one is good, but sub-par compared with the previous installments!
5 people working for 4k a month for a year makes 240k for salaries only. If you see the credits, there was more than five names. Now you can argue me below.
Edit: This is what you should also put into concideration.
"Revolution announced Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse on 23 August 2012, starting a Kickstarter project with a $400,000 goal. Until then, the production of the game had been self-funded and $500,000 had been spent. Despite interest of the "industry's biggest third party publisher," Revolution preferred to self-publish the game, giving them creative freedom, which Cecil felt allowed them to make decisions that are best for the game. However, Cecil has also noted that he still plans to work with publishers in the future for retail releases. The game's Kickstarter goal was reached in the project's 13th day. It was successfully funded on 22 September 2012, raising $771,560 from 14,032 backers, and a total of $823,232 counting 1,218 PayPal backers who raised $51,672."
What if Revolution didn't start a kickstarter and went for the easy third party publisher money? What kind of Broken Sword would we have now?
Seriously, I'm getting tired of people calling this game short. It's only the FIRST HALF! 50%! Not the FULL game. Jeez...
On the other hand it's also a good sign that you think this game is too short because that means you enjoyed it and you want more. Good news: we'll get more very soon!
And to the people rushing through the game in 3-4 hours: you've clearly missed the majority of the game. There is so much more to discover in it, so many comments about all those hotspots, so many different dialog lines. Just take your time and explore! You'll be surprised how much content this game has to offer. For example: have you tried to give the diamond ring to Nico yet?
Once again, if you're going "indie" or working on titles your salary can change to whatever you want, but I doubt they wanted less money with the extra 450k dollar.
Because, I hardly see what that money made at all.
Part one I got 13 hours. But I did leave the game on while doing something else but I do take my time playing BS5 so I am less sad when the game finally ends because Revolution may not make 6th game even with kickstarter.
Huh? You think Revolution won't make a 6'th game?
