How hard are broken sword games?
Hi there I want to find a point and click adventure for my brother. He is 10 and almost completed the 3rd game of Deponia series. He likes Deponia but definely had some slowdowns, because sometimes he dont understand weird logic behind some actions and it takes around hour or two to get past some locations. Now I want to buy him broken sword games, but I dont know if they will be too hard for him. So how hard are these comparing to Deponia?

i dont know about deponia, but broken sword 1+2 both had logical puzzles that could all be solved without outside knowledge just stuff you learn in game, my memory isn't great on #3 but i remember that also being the same, never finished 4 so cant comment on that. 5 looks like being the same as 1+2 but i've just had to use a walkthrough to get past a puzzle (the sign for anyone interested) and im not ashamed to say so either, hopefully its just a blip in what looks like a return to form for the series

I play a lot point and click adventures and I can tell you that part 5 is easy to play, nothing frustrates. Part 4 is very difficult and I have needed often hints in internet. And Part 3 is a little bit easier than 4. But I can nothing tell you about comparison to Deponia... because this series will be the next item in my todo playlist, sorry.

Iff he can play Deponia, I am pretty sure he can play Broken Sword games. Just skip the horrible 3D action adventure ones. Only play the point and click ones.
