The premise of this game is rather simple. A man goes to a psychologist and talks to her about the story of his life. Depending on what choices you make, there are a large number of different endings. Unfortunately, the game suffers from a lack of focus.

Let's go over the good things first:
-Choices really do matter in the game.
-Makes an attempt to cover some heavy topics

Unfortunately, that's about all the good there is. While the story attempts to tackle a variety of serious topics, such as cheating, drug use, suicide, etc, it simply does not give these topics the weight and consideration they deserve. Each 'playthrough' takes between one and two minutes, and some of your choices can lead you down some dark paths (I personally went through around half of the story paths before deciding it really wasn't worth going for full completion). However, each 'path' is far too short and far too surface level to really do anything justice. If they had sacrificed a bit of choice and focused on just a handful of these story paths, it would be a much better game, but as it is, it mostly reads in a "this happened, then this happened" type of bullet point narrative, punctuated by several branching choices. In addition to the lack of depth, the English translation is also slapdash at best. The grammar and punctuation is terrible and at times is fairly hard to get through. The music also does not work in the game's favor, as there is only a single track throughout the entire thing, the latter half of which has a much more 'epic adventure' vibe that is at odds with the game's storytelling.

All in all, this game has an ambitious, interesting concept, in the idea of going through a man's life story with diverse, multiple endings depending heavily on your choices, but did not follow through in the execution. I think with some polish and more time in development this could become something worth playing, but as it is, the story is slapped together and feels almost disrespectful to the topics it tries to deal with by how little depth the narrative has. I've honestly seen free games that feel much more complete than this, and it's really not worth the 50 cents I paid for it.

I finished this game in six minutes.

No, really; from the first line of weird broken English to the jarring snap back to the main menu at the conclusion took six minutes.

I will never be the same.

In my six minutes of game time, I experienced the tragic tale of What's-His-Name, as he sought therapy to deal with the death of his father, and the murder? of his mother?... I think it was murder... Anyway, he assigned himself a girl named Liza as his best friend at the (grown adult?) orphanage . (Her name might have been Lizzy? Lisa, maybe? I don't remember). They went to watch an eclipse together, but What's-his-face wasn't impressed, so Liza got pissed off, but she was fine the next day.

- You still with me? Good! -

So then, Liza introduced Great Value Leon S. Kennedy to her friend Chloe for some reason. Chloe called later that night, (or possibly weeks later, it isn't clear), and invited King Knob out somewhere. The met up at her place and had sex. Then they apparently became lovers, and at some point Liza died in what looked to be the very same car accident that killed Edgelord Supreme's dad.

The flashbacks finally came to end, (did I mention the story is told entirely in multi-layered flashbacks?), and Joe Dirt walked out of his new therapists office, went home and shot himself because he felt guilty about not telling Liza about his sleeping with Chloe. I think.

The End.

Or,...Maybe he didn't shoot himself? There was no gun. His head just kind of exploded. Maybe he has Scanner powers? I don't know. It isn't clear.

Did I forget to mention that during the entire game, epic Super-Hero-Movie style music is playing the same ten second loop, way too loudly?

Or that there are like 20 resolution choices, but none of them matter because the game will only play in 720p??

Or that the constant syntax, spelling, and grammatical errors made me question reality??

I will never be the same.
