The time has come! The playtest for the first major update of Goofy Gorillas is here!

The Refurbishment has been a long project up to now, redesigning the game from scratch and rebuilding almost every system in the game from the ground up so that adding further content will be much easier going forward.

I have taken a lot of feedback from players directly and through the many videos that have been made of the game. There have been many changes to the game and many fixes to already existing content.

As this is a playtest, some features will not be present yet, such as character customisation and the Hide & Seek gamemode. These will be returning soon as a top priority. There may also be bugs and issues present in the playtest. Your level will carry over and Goofy Points will be adjusted to fit the new GP system.

The aim is to make the experience as smooth as possible for everyone, then eventually bring The Refurbishment into the main branch.

So, how do you access the playtest?

On Steam > Games > Goofy Gorillas > Settings > Properties... > Betas

Select 'refurbishment'.
Steam will then update the game with the playtest version.
