Like seriously, is this the first time the ninja gaiden fanbase has sucked pavement recently alone?
The only reason this is happening is cause wo long bombed on them.
If their plan is to add two characters, then, hopefully, each one has a different story without switching from one to the other, back and forth.
I'm happy that there is a new Ninja Gaiden sequel coming out, but I pretty much didn't like anything about it in the trailer. The new character looks like a lame K-Pop singer. Just plain uninterested.
Besides, Ryu should still be the main character and any extra character should be only playbale in some chapters like the Sigma versions.
Moreover, if you wanted to bring a new character, why not just bring Ein into the series? There are plenty of characters in this universe already, there was really no need for a K-Pop singer.
I'm guessing it's about attracting Zoomer audience.
Zoomer audience loves Nero and hates Dante who is more millenial coded.
They just don't like classic macho stoic characters, they want edgy zoomer character.
