I hope so, and not for short segments; In fact I would love to play as Ryu Hayabusa in all Levels of the game in a New Game+ or something like a "Ryu campaign".

Pretty sure from the shots in the trailer which show you playing as Ryu, you'll be able to play as Ryu.
