Look way too futuristic to my taste....((
I am not a fan of sci-fi, and NG4 look Sci-fi enough to not like it.
I liked NG1 for cool ninja in MODERN(With fantastic elements ofcourse) setting, slicing tanks and shooting down helicopters with bow. NG1 setting is just perfect
NG2 was.....eehhh i don't wanna talk about it....middle in everything(*cough*Serious Sam with sword *cough*)
NG3 in style balanced on the edge between cool brutal robots and again Sci-Fi, but didn't crossed that line, so spider tanks and super helicopter was amazing.

Staying in the same era can be boring sometimes

Yeah. I don't like it, either.

The setting of the old games had the perfect balance between the old (shrines, villages, historical sites), the new (skyscrapers, airplanes, labs) plus the fantastical (the demon realm).

Not to mention the fact that it was a world trip (the Amazon, Tokyo, New York, Rome, etc).

I just hope we don't get to spend the entire game in "Neo Tokyo". That'd be boring.

All the games were Sci-fi with fantasy elements, what do you even mean? This is just more of the same in another locale. There is more than one area in these games you know.
since when Ninja Gaiden not about demon/Oni robot and high tech armored ninja? ok! kids you can go back to your fornite and minecraft, little ♥♥♥♥♥
I was getting Ghostrunner vibes when watching this.

IT looks too cyberpunk without the thematic implications, but its okay. I hope the theme is wrt the new protag and the location. If there are village and jungle maps, it should be classic ninja themed.
