Ninja Gaiden 4

Ninja Gaiden 4

Not what I expected.
I was expecting NG to make an appearance, but not like this, let me explain:

While I'm glad the franchise is getting a revival with the 2D game made by The Game Kitchen (I trust them), and Ninja Gaiden 2 Black (it looks interesting), I wasn't expecting NG4 to look like this...

Why?, because to be honest it looks like a mobile game, and I'm not saying this to be negative but just to be honest since the art style looks a lot Code Vein or God Eater and I don't think that's the aesthetics that should go with a NG game, I saw everybody happy on the subreddit of the game which is understandable, but guys, this really looks like a mobile game.

Gameplay looks good though, I just don't like the art style at all including that logo (it looks cheap). Anyways, I hope the game turns out to be good.

clown farmer never heard of any other game made by Platinum.

Your opinion is invalid.
Most important thing in this kind of games is and always will be GAMEPLAY.
What mobile games have you been playing?

Yes, gameplay is the most important thing, but you can have a nice art style as well, the one in this game would be better for an Spin-off instead of a main entry.

I'm not obsessed with graphics, I just don't like the art style used here.

I don't play on mobile, but it reminds of those games in the aesthetics.

Gameplay looks promising though.

I have fear too, the store page features a very sloppy title card. C'mon dudes I could make a better title card than that. Thats going to market? if the rest of the game is as low effort as the title card then I can't imagine it will be any good. It's like a slacker turning in some crappy art as homework, I give it an F so far for getting our hopes up

That's the thing, while gameplay looks interesting and that's the most important thing of any Hack and Slash game, this is a main entry and as such it should receive the best presentation.

I was expecting this game to receive a presentation of the level of DMC5, not necessarily with a photorealistic engine but at least with a AAA investment, that's why I had concerns the moment I saw the trailer.
What does look like a mobile game even mean?

Genshin Impact , Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Heights are all games that exist on a mobile platform and look aboslutely amazing.

Capcom has done an amazing job bringing all the modern day RE titles to mobile devices while maintaining an amazing level of fidelity.

I get yall want free steam points but this isnt even good clown farming bait.

Mobile game? I'd say they're playing it safe by shying out of any radical changes due to the franchise's absent from the market, thus they're keeping it traditional.

It's more like a quality game straight out of the PS3 era and I love it. Not sure what do you mean by mobile game.

Could you elaborate your definition of a PC game? No offense, but you strike me as a young fellow who has a different point of view compared to the rest of the fans like us that are quite old since Ninja Gaiden is a fairly old franchise.

I just didn't like the presentation of the game in its art style, for a main entry series I was expecting the presentation to be at the level of DMC5, not with photo realistic graphics, just a better art style akin to previous games like NG Black or 2.
