This game is a short but very good 2d platformer. Feels very much like a Mega Man game with the power ups of Contra. The hand drawn graphics are very nice and the soundtrack is solid. You also get up to 3 different characters as you continue playing, the 3rd being a very interesting twist on the game that entirely changes how you play. I was able to beat the game with all 3 characters in just over 1 hour 15 mintues, but I still would recommend this game to any classic platformer fans due to its nice control, good level design, and charming art and music.

Very fun, very cheap, and pretty short western themed Megaman-esque sidescroller. Would highly recommend this. Would also highly recommend the sequel, which ups the ante in every single possible way.

Had this on my 3DS back in the day, still amazing today.

i played the the ♥♥♥♥ out of these games on my 3ds and switch. they are some of the best platformers I have ever played they also pose a very fun challenge. I can not recommend these games enough

Fun mega-man style side scroller in a western theme. Simple, but very enjoyable and satisfying

Cheap and short action platformer that plays like Megaman but with a different power up system. The visual style is easily the most striking thing about it and gives it a great vibe. Levels and bosses strike a good balance of being challenging enough to not be push overs but not so hard that you'll get frustrated. Also enjoyed the unlockable duck mode in which you have to flap your way through the run and gun levels with no offensive capabilities. Nothing amazing but easy to recommend as a good time for 2 bucks.

Very underrated metroidvania game.

I remember seeing this on the 3Ds Nintendo eShop but never getting around to playing it. Now that I've had the time to properly sit down and play through this to 100% completion I've fallen in love with this game. The art style is incredibly charming, and highlighting only bullets and anything else that can hurt you is really nice. The levels are really cool too- every level has a different platforming theme and it makes the game really refreshing. There are 3 characters to play as each with their own fun playstyles. The game consists of 4 different worlds with 4 bosses each with a great fight. While not on par with the difficulty of Cuphead- this game reminds me a lot of Cuphead, and if you loved that game you should get a lot of fun out of this game. For $2 this game is an absolute steal.

I have a hard time reviewing this game.
For one side i like it, i like the graphics, it's a throwback arcade game with lots of heart.
On the other side the controls are awful, the character is slow as all hell, the bosses are difficult only because of the fact that the character is slow (i played on hard, maybe on easy or normal the thing is more manageable).
I give a positive review, but the frustration of the bosses due to the sluggish of the character made me really think hard on that.

Now that i finished it (took me 2 days, it's a short game) i can say that it's a fun game, i recommend it, but it's very dependent on luck more than skill.
The last boss is very easy.

It's a fun, stylish little platformer. It's pretty much what it looks like from the screenshots.

It's fun but it's not without flaws. The jumping is a little floaty and there's some minor jank that you'd expect from an older, smaller indie games like this.

But I can overlook these. It's a fun little game to pick up for a few minutes here and there. It's nothing to write home to mom about but it doesn't pretend to be that either. It's just a little indie game with a lot of charm. If you like retro platformers, you could do a lot worse. Just don't expect it to play as tightly as some games from the same genre with much bigger budgets.
