This is why I am using Poyopa tires on my GTR. They are plentyful at every garage :D
But yes, those are much more likely.
Whatever that max is yes, 2.2 I think. I do believe that is just the probability that parts are spawned not necessarily that parts for a specific vehicle spawn. So that option doesn't sort the problem of the tire spawns not actually being RNG.
If they were RNG, then you'd sometimes roll into the 2 car garage and find tires for vehicles not listed above. Except that never happens. Its always those 4. That's not RNG, those are static spawns.
Weird. I have certainly found other wheels not belonging to the cars in the garage, even though it's much more rare. I just found 4(!) Bonphiac wheels at a garage with a Dada and a truck. Maybe I have a nice bug!
You're probably right about probability spawn.
I just spent 500km looking for the radio for the Bonphiac, as soon as I found it I've seen it at almost every POI. And I don't think it's just Baader-Meinhof.
And just so we're clear, I agree with you :)
Its almost like the system prefers to spawn things it has already spawned. to be fair, RNG in code is wonky at best. There's never a truly random generation, only rules designed to help pick something out of a set, but even then it isn't random unless the code also runs a bunch of checks to ensure the things its trying to spawn is in fact different. Which is complicated and messy, but required.
I almost now wonder if the seed plays some part in the generation, so maybe the seed I've been running just doesn't have the math results that land differing tires? however I do have two buddies I been playing with in MP however, in their SP runs they have ran into the same issues as I with the tire spawns.
So yeah something is wonky somewhere, and I'd guess there just needs to be more checks put in place to ensure everything has an equal chance to spawn for us.
