Continue game after updating puts player at 0km without car!

WTF? I upgraded the game version to the latest (from March 24 build ? to May 8 build 911) and now my saved games load the player at 0km without my car.

Edit: M key does nothing either. Also, my character has been reset to default outfit (fluorescent green tanktop, jeans) instead of what it was wearing before (backpack, black long-sleeved shirt, welding mask).

The log file shows lots of "LogUObjectGlobals: Warning: Failed to find object 'Object None.None'"...

WTF? This game is borked...

OK, using a cheat engine trainer (whatever), I managed to run fast to get to my car (~7km) but I don't know how my character got reset. So annoying...

You know that there was a major change in savegame handling some time ago? If not check all changelogs from your old to the new version.
