No controller support

My X1 windows controller works, but it's janky - at best (using the Steam Controller Input).
However controller/wheel support is on the roadmap, so it will be implemented at some point.

I Remember playing the demo with an Xbox controller and it worked pretty much fine- but I'm with you there, I only like to buy games anymore that have controller support because I have issues using my WASD hand lol Even if theres no OFFICIAL controller support (yet) there might be controller layouts in the steam controller config thing- I really was hoping they'd have it by now, or at least be looking into working on it for a future update. I really want Controller support and maybe a peaceful mode (zombie FREEE) I love driving/road trip games but I'm not much of a fan of being chased by zombies constantly- mainly because I suck at shooting them. I blame it on me being too shakey to aim properly haha

There is very few zombies, also you can actually turn them off, there's lot of stuff you can edit in your save game before goin in ;) I only use controller for driving, and there is nothing really that can be improved, for walking I use keyboard+mouse, but I think even for walking, the controller support is good enough.

That's correct, but what does it change ? It works even that it's not officially stated as supported. Once it will be officially supported, nothing changes except you may actually see keybinds in-game which you can't now.
