There is a trick I only do one car at a time to make sure the game thinks I'm only finding parts for one vehicle. I take a vehicle I have already unlocked and use it to collect the parts. I only collect parts . When I have almost all the parts like 99% I look for a wreck that almost built and then I add those part sometime I might have 3 parts or 1 part left. I did this with the Triclops and have the achievement. The GTR is a pain in the neck so I'm working on it last I'm doing the golf now and it's almost finish I never tow anything the game will punish you IDK why just trying to put a car together.
Ontop of that, THERES like NO garages for me to even find the cars... or pieces :|
If yuo are only missing 1 part, it might be the interieur light, it can be missed really easy on most cars.
