Drive Beyond Horizons

Singleplayer UAZ Van not moving
I don't know if this topic was there before since I couldn't find anyone with this specific issue.
So I found a UAZ Van and set it up ready to drive.
Now when I start the engine and try to drive nothing moving.
I built in a V8 Engine and all the parts should be working.
Pedals, Gearshifter etc.
Where is the problem? Or is it a bug?

nope
Check settings for "weight affect vehicles". If set reset it and try again

It may take 10-15 seconds before it starts to move initiallay. Check your basic requirements: pedals, gear shifter, oil level (low oil -> less power). Also hit n one time to "unstuck" the car, as it may sit invisibly trapped (happens mostly if you remove/add wheels in bumpy terrain, less on roads, but it unstuck mine).

Also check the "weight affects vehicles" setting. If it is active the UAZ will not move or if run downhill will not be able to sustain running. Setting it to off doesn't change much, but the car will work.

sadly doesn't work.... (i never turned weight on and even if it was should make a different i have nothing in the car just the parts it needs to run) and yes i have all the aprts in...

might just go back to the long drive until this game actually fix's alot of the bugs.

IDK why you having such trouble with the UAZ but it does have an acceleration delay. I have no trouble moving mine now but can you do a little video on it
the UAZ breaks as soon as you put wheels on the front i noticed it yesterday. the hubs break and flip sideways causing it not to move. its a bug with no way around it.
Can confirm front wheel hub rotated and clipping through tire and will not drive

The visual breaking of the front wheelhub has nothing to do with driving:

It looks bad, but the car will drive.

Again: check you have all the pedals, check handbrake (if it is set the engine will rev very high very fast, if it is released, the engine will still rev, but not so fast and high), if the engine doesn't rev -> gas pedal (yeah, you told...), check the gear shifter, check oil and water, press "n". If it still doesn't work: Upload savegame for others to check/verify as, if this really is a bug, it may help the devs to find a remedy.
Ah, one other point: If you put in the V8 you may have to step on the gas for 10-15 sec before the car will move. Changing direction after this time may also help. Haven't figured out yet as to when and why that happens, but sometimes it takes really long for the car to break loose and roll, especially in rough terrain and uphill.

Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE you have a gas pedal?

The gas pedal on the UAZ is tiny and easy to miss.

It's floor-mounted as weel, contrary to the other 2.

honestly i sitll have to no clue what the issue was but i found another body and just moved all my parts to that one and it worked fine after that....

guess in my case it was a just a weird body glitch

I was having same issue with van, tried 10L V8 no go, 10L diesel no go. Put in the 4.5L diesel no go. saved the game reloaded took off weight effects and it worked so it all may boil down to weight effects on your vans.

Today I assembled the UAZ. It reacts slowly to movement. Sometimes pressing the N button helps. The handbrake can also be buggy. You need to wait patiently until it starts moving.
