If you have all of the parts you can look up your game logs to find the missing or wrong ones. They are accessible though

C:\Users\"USER"\AppData\Local\DriveBeyondHorizons\Saved\Logs

Don't forget to replace "USER" with your actual user name on your PC.

Once you find the logs start you game save remove one part from the car and put it back. Then open your most recently edited log and scroll to the very bottom. It'll have a line similar to

LogBlueprintUserMessages: [None] BP_Pontiac_BackSeat_L_C_2137377816 is a wrong part on: PontiacCar_C_2137379205.CarBackSeat_R expected: BP_Pontiac_BackSeat_R_C

That line of code will tell you what you have installed and what should be there. The above Example say that the Left back seat for the Pontiac is installed into the right seat position.

I had the same issue and it turns out it requires a turbo on the engine

Hello, in the game logs I can see if I placed a wrong part in the wrong place, but I can't see if I forgot a part somewhere?
I finished the golf course, I placed all the parts I found in the guides or the wiki, and I don't have the achievement. I looked at the logs, I don't see any mention of "wrong part." I can't tell if I'm missing a part? Yet, as I said, I completely checked everything with the various existing guides.

If you remove a part and replace it onto the car the bottom of the log will either tell you that a part is missing or a wrong part is installed. If a single part is missing it wont tell you what parts are wrong, then it will only tell you one wrong part at a time until it is perfect.
I also need help with the golf, i have all the parts but it says im missing 1, have no idea which one, it says theres a total of 57 parts and i have 56
Maybe the common parts to miss - antenna, front lip, maybe wrong floor mats (there a left and a right one), or like me twice the same backlight - but i missed that one because they where fully rusted and i didn't clean them :o.

Also check out the wiki there is every part you need listed ...
