How to kill alien in story mode ?

There's an option for killing them ? Dont understand, last step is kill alien, but with rocketlauncher or AK I cant.
Someone have an idea ?

so what if u have only 1 rocket launcher

It reloads after a few seconds. Easy peasy, 2 hits and the UFO crashes.
If you want to attempt the secret ending, I recommend at least 2 RPGs in the hotbar for fast shots and switching.

I've tied shooting them at the towers, but it doesn't seem to work.
