It also doesn't let you edit the game as you wish, they added a patch that messed up several things, I hope they fix it soon

Let's hope they fix it, if I don't refund it I won't have a game that was working well and suddenly stops working well.

Someone filed a false copyright claim to the games store page. They sent over the info that they DO in fact own the material. So now they're just waiting for steam to fix it.
The only issue they may run into, is the substantial similarity clause of copyright. Substantial similarity means that the defendant's work is so similar to the plaintiff's copyrighted work that a reasonable person would conclude the defendant unlawfully appropriated the plaintiff's protected expression. Given that the mechanics of the game, and the overall premise are so close to The Long Drive... then the developers could quite easily run afoul of that other title due to the substantial similarity clause. Other issues are the inclusion of some of the vehicles. Like in the splash screen of what is obviously a Ford Mustang. The issue there being Ford has trademarked the shape of the mustang, and actively protects its trademarks to ensure that only authorized individuals and businesses use them in an acceptable manner. Meaning that if that design or shape is used without licensing from Ford... then lawyers can (and will) come knocking.

Basically, it's a nice way of saying, it may not be as "false" a claim as you think.

Copyright was from music.

Should I refund it or not? Because how long do we have to wait for this to be fixed and for the game to work properly again?

If the product is no longer available, is a refund still possible?

However that does not mean that Ford, or the developer of TLD may not in turn file a claim.

Ok ok, I'll wait for it to be ready, but if they don't fix it in 1 week, I'll refund it because if 2 weeks go by, I won't be able to do it.

The game was taken down for a false DMCA claim. Just wait a few days, and it'll be back.
