Just play The Long Drive
You'll Be wasting time and money getting drive beyond horizon its actually just a rip off of The Long Drive not to mention it costs more for a game that's not even a quarter of its built compared to The Long Drive Which Feels Like It wasn't just stolen from another company also them assets looking way to similar

We should give up these stolen words inspired and this game is more detailed and more stable. Do not comment on a game you have not played.

I tried to play for 20min. 2 fatal errors before I even get going. Stable isn't a word I would use to describe this game....
I mean we should give this developer at least a chance....The game was released 4 days ago on EA...if the dude runs with the money and abandoned this game too..you can always say "see...told ya". I am also not happy how the actual state of the game is...especially with all the zombie ♥♥♥♥....but i can at least hope the dev will now and then check the forum and reads.

Do you know the game In Search of Paradise, which came out in 2016? Does this mean that TLD is also just a copy of it, as it was only released in 2019? Of course, that's not the case. The gaming community should finally accept that a new game genre, Survival Road Trip, has emerged here (sometime around the turn of 2017-18). It's completely normal that if someone wants to create a game in the same genre, the creators will be inspired by their predecessor, use similar mechanics and try to somehow improve or adapt them for their own game and the games will be similar in some aspect. We could start accusing all games, for example from the RPG genre, of being just a copy of some previous RPG. Nobody today says that Baldur's Gate is just a copy of Neverwinter Nights, etc... So please stop with this nonsense and let's be happy that we have more and more games in this genre to choose from. This competition is, in my opinion, a healthy environment that forces developers to be better and better, and in the end we can expect better and more sophisticated games.

don't play the long drive, as it is just stolen from Jalopy even the assets are similar
don't play any first person game as they are all clearly just a ripoff of doom
don't play any games as they are just a ripoff of real live, where you can do all that and better even the graphics are the same

Have you actually played this VS the long drive? While I think they're certainly similar, I think DBH has some better quality of life control and car setup mechanics. Going back to The Long Drive, it still feels like you're fighting against the controls. There are also only a few cars and bikes to setup, which is fine.

For a very simple example, filling in DBH (this game) can use both, pouring or snapping to fill. TLD just expects you to pour everything everywhere all willy-nilly which is fine, till the physics decides to freak out. Recently it seems the attachments have been correctly updated and highlight properly from a reasonable distance.

I think the GFX are nice, however one really needs to be able to disable FSR in this game. I run it on Linux and FSR has some CPU overhead I would rather not have.

I'll probably disappoint you, but your creation has been limited. Just yesterday it was available and that's it

do you have coop in the long drive ? no

do you have coop in drive horizon ? yes

how many time i have on TLD = 0

how many time i have on DBH = 10 hours and will grow.

if the dev was a dude with the project of "take the money and run" do you really think he put the effort in making coop ?

and horizon si so much beautiful... hyper bugged and badly optimized versus the demo, but they said it s EA and there is lot of work... in all case even with the game in this state a friend and i took 10 hours of pleasure and keep a lot of hopes for THIS version of a survival road trip.

with this logic CoD is a complete ripoff and not deserving of anymore sales...
The biggest problem for me was that the demo is almost identical to the finished game—download the demo, and you basically have the full game.

No crazy events (even though the game is practically made for crazy things to happen), and even the ending is the same, except they patched in a rocket launcher so you can now shoot down UFOs. There are also a few radio towers you can interact with (but only in the evening—why?!), and that’s it.

I was really hyped for the full release, but unfortunately, I’m disappointed with how it turned out.

the long drive looks like it was made in an hour, this game looks great and if you want to play the long drive go ahead we are all here to play a new adventure game seen in the eyes of a new creator

Almost all Unreal/Unity games, use the stock assets. And that's all this game has done. Just like TLD, and 90% of other Unreal/Unity games.

DBH is a bit less janky, and has slightly more predictable driving physics. Especially when towing a trailer.

OP better only be playing the first Unreal/Unity game ever made, otherwise he's just playing rip offs, lol.
