Drive Beyond Horizons

Drive Beyond Horizons

Low FPS on decent PC
Hi there. Since release I am encountering low FPS when driving. It rarely goes above 40'ish while driving (no matter what vehicle). When game generates world it can drop to 10.
But on foot FPS is affordable (around 100). Graphic settings do nothing.

PC: Xeon W5-3435X, 128GB DDR5-6400, Radeon 7900 XTX, Win 11 with latest updates. Game on NVMe.

Upon playing this game I noticed this too. My theory is that the game engine calculates every objects movement in the space specially the ones you are currently hauling. Hopefully the devs has a fix for this.

Tried this on my laptop running on i5 10310U with integrated graphics. overall CPU and GPU utilization is at 90% for this measly laptop cpu and gpu. I usually play this game remotely using an R5 3600 and RTX 3070 but I just thought I could run it in my laptop just for kicks. the graphics still stutter but maybe i've done something wrong with the configuration so I'll try again later.

Same performance, nothing changed.

make sure that you paste the game in appdata in driverhorizont and check if these 3 files are marked to be read-only and on steam add the command with start -USECONFIG and then just start the game, if you change the game settings e.g. to the highest you have to restart the game so that the config you pasted works with the game settings

yes, currently not all options that are here work correctly but as soon as the version of the game in which it will be possible to mod is released, I will provide the appropriate files to run undos for it, but currently 80% of the configs work, these are minor changes but there are many of them, which slightly improves the game, loading physics and multiplayer at the moment
