i am pretty sure they might have been working on modding stuff
but then a developer died so that probably put a wrench in things

so a question , the game is not going to grow any more ? jng II of-course , and for example i really wanted a workshop and a modding platform + level editor , and all of these are gone ?

To be completely honest, comparing modern JnG Gold with JnG of 200x - it grew more than enough meat on it over these two decades.

Still, there are never enough of perfection...
