Hi!
Setting the ini file should work well. If it doesn't work, try to update your video drivers.

Try to edit a file Game.ini located in the Documents\JnGGold\ and change values under [VIDEO] section.
windowed=0
ratio43=0
window_width=800
window_height=600

Try to change the resolution, windowed=0 starts the game in fullscreen; you can try to set ration43=1 too, it could help.

Ok. problem with resolution was in "read only" propiertis of ini file. Now it save reslution correct.
But I still cannot play in fullscreen, because image just goes right and down.

Sorry, but we already closed this project. It's very old game and we simply do not have manpower to update it anymore. I'm glad you are able to enjoy it despite the inconvenience. We hopefully do better in the sequel we are working on right now.

In the compatibility settings of properties, there is an option to "change high DPI settings", click this and a new dialog box will open with some boxes you can check: Check the very last box (under "High DPI Scaling Overirde") which says "override high scaling behavior" and let the application perform scaling. Now run the program as administrator and the the game should launch in fullscreen at your monitor's native resolution.

Awesome. This fix the issues. I guess the app was trying to adjust itself, since it came out, it was probably designed for screen less than 720P than the newer games were.

I can't find the .exe to update this setting. Does someone have the path available for win10 64?

Found it and not sure how I missed it the first time! The resolution fix in the Compatibility tab described above worked like a charm! :)

I hope a resolution FHD, 2K, 4K patch comes one dayfor this first miracle. (after release jng2) Nothing more just proper resolution for bigger screens and prepare your ORIGINAL GUNS. :)
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
