fromsoft couldn't care less about steam deck and since it's probably gonna use eac then even moreso
:(
Elden Ring works great so I don’t see why they wouldn’t try……now if it has Anti Cheat….

it works with eac disabled, it's doubtful they'll let you disable eac in this one though as it's mp only

Is that a new thing you have to do? My game works flawlessly with zero tinkering, but the last time I played it on Deck was prior to the DLC.

It will most likely work. Both Elden Ring and Armored Core VI have included EAC since launch and they both work online on deck.
Elden Ring doesn't use the "Kernel level" version of EAC, it runs on the user level for that game, so it is supported on deck.
Considering it's also releasing for PS4 and has their existing framework in place I don't see why it wouldn't work on deck. If Elden ring runs with EAC also I can't see that being a problem unless they decide to go for a worse option. Like it was stated above it's user level not kernel level so unless they change that it should work perfectly fine.

Keep hoping

Low settings on experimental seems to be fine for Elden Ring on Deck, as I get 35-45fps. Let's hope for the best on Nightreign!
