Using incantations on duchess for boss weakness?

So i know that she gets a S scaling on sorcery's, However is it enough to overcome the damage you would deal against a boss weak to holy/lighting etc?

Basically what is a more efficient use of my Fp, Targeting weakness, or relying purely on scaling. Even if the damage isn't better, if its not by much, wouldn't it still be better to hit the boss weakness for the additional staggers/weakening it often causes?

Still need help with this. Very hard to figure out on my own.
On a semi related note: Duchess doesn't actually seem to get great magic scaling on, atleast the daggers. Faith based dagger did same damage as Magic dagger. Testested exe'y just incase who was receiving the proper scaling.. Wonder if Shes bugged.
