Originally when i was watching all the game reviews and game play got the preconceived notion that this game was going to be boring and a Fortnight PvE reskin. after having played I will say this. this game is elden ring with a mix of Sekiro and a focus on fast focused game play. the game is really fun it does feel like a roguelike and plays more like a roguelike then say something like a BR or other games. it is challenging you will die you will have to puzzle out and figure things out the biggest thing to do is whenever you can level your class level up. then once you level your class get upgrades for your weapons your goal should be to find and fight bosses that aren't too tough for you group to manage at the start to get powerful drops and ability ad-dons then try to get upgrade your weapon before the night comes where you have to rush to the boss fight zone fight the night lord hopefully then continue onto the next day till you get to the final night lord and face them.

while the game is mostly darksouls darksouls 2 and darksouls 3 +Elden Ring Assets reused bosses now have new attacks new patterns and some new strategies you're going to need to use to face off against the bosses. the classes do feel distinct and unique from one another and do play differently form what you could do in a elden ring play through. the game is also much faster paced with better traversal mechanics such as wall jumping that comes straight out of Sekiro that add to the games enjoyment. Originally was convinced after watching multiple streams of the game that it wasn't gonna be fun it didn't seem like anything new and the night lord mechanic where the circle shrinks did not appeal to me Or So thought,

However I was surprised to be completely wrong. I picked up this game up because some friends were playing and had mentioned it was a good game I decided to swallow my preconceived notions bought the game started playing and now I can enjoy this. is the perfect game? no does it evolve Elden ring and improve anything? not really no, Is it a blast to play with friends conqueror hard bosses absolutely there is nothing quite so rewarding as watching your character go from weak to being able to tear through hordes of enemies and popping their abilities off and wrecking things in the process. if you're on the fence about this game ask yourself if you liked elden ring.. do you want to fight more bosses and do you enjoy roguelikes? if you answered yes to any of those then yes this game maybe extremely appealing to you to where you have alot of fun facing old darksouls bosses from other titles with a group of friends to tackle them. If you don't like darksouls or elden ring or even sekiro this game is not gonna change that opinon. but it is a good game worth 40? yeah possibly I'm having a good time it helps to have good friends to play this with.

if you're coming in solo you're in for a baad time good luck!

Solo is the way to go, if you want the real Souls Boss experience. Really kicks arse.
Plus, benefit of having nobody else to blame when I fail… 😂

you're gonna suffer some of these bosses have masssive hp pools don't expect to be beating them in under 10 minutes by yourself unless you got really good drops from bosses and a good deal of levels
