Opinions on the no communication features in game?
I kinda like the idea of no way to communicate to randoms and "learning" to flow with each other, though i Could see why having no way of communicating with your team besides crouch and block spam is a problem because of the whole co-op Rogue-like aspect of the game.

What do you guys Think?

No souls-like game ever had voice chat or text, only emotes, and we can ping places in this game which is impossible to miss since it's a big arrow on your screen lol. Don't really see a problem with it personally.

except DS3 apparently, even though nobody used it.

I think DS3 had a voice chat, but nobody ever used it lol

For a game intended to be played Coop with three players, random or premade, to not have the option of built in voice communications is devastating.

Especially egregious since the consoles have built in voice chat that is part of the system. What a lazy choice by the NR developer. He really deserves to get roasted for this gaff.

It didn't unless it was a mod, I played that game inside and out haha.

Discord just encourages developers to do this. That way they don't have to moderate randoms and people who are friends usually just use discord anyway.

It absolutely has voice chat without mods.

It did. I used to play Gherman's theme for the other players over my mic when doing jolly co-operation against the Soul of Cinder.

Ok I was wrong on that front, I had to look it up since it has been so many years since playing. But even still, I had thousands of hours in that game and never heard anyone once, nobody used it. it isn't needed in a game like this anyways, and only opens the door to flaming and arguments.

Yeah....you totally couldn't summon real players throughout the entire game, definitely not coop, I fully agree..

what do you think, a coop game , without text or voicechat, is like buying a car without wheels. this is a joke lol.

I Guess
I'm thinking the blame lies on the toxicity of players in chat. You did it to yourselves.

It's not a car without wheels; it's a car with a soundproof interior so you don't have to listen to the noise of others.
