Why not pvpve?
Pve only looks boring, why just not to download mod to original Elden Ring to play coop? You could play what style you like, use every item on a character, you had time to watch the landscapes. In Nightreign it looks ♥♥♥♥ you must be hurry for the whole time to get new loot, also there is no(?) story and you have weird classes. What's the point of pve in Nightreign? Sorry for bad english

Because they didn't want the game to be about that. They do have a pvpve game coming out called Duskbloods.

Not counting the Counter-Strike and Team Fortress marathons in my youth, the vast majority of my gaming is PvE, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

nintendo founded the whole project and make it exclusive for their platform, like many other games wont leave nintendo octopath1,zelda,mario,pokemon,xenoblade etc its obviously doing it so we can buy their overpriced nintendo switch 2 and that can be bricked remotely if they dont like what you do with it like chargeback games from their online store they can brick ur console lol or using mig switch to store ur games in 1 card

Must be a lot of money. More people game on PC than all of the consoles put together.

Of course, but every gamer isn't playing Bloodborne or Pokemon. A wad of exclusivity cash from Nintendo could be plenty for them to make up the difference of not being able to dip into other console markets.

Apparently FS is keeping the IP for The Duskbloods, though. So there is a non-zero chance it'll be released on other platforms in the future. We'll have to wait and see.

Also, Octopath 1 is on steam.
