Unfortunately a Nintendo only release. Not sure who was behind the decision making with that one..
Probably Nintendo + Money.
Not counting the Counter-Strike and Team Fortress marathons in my youth, the vast majority of my gaming is PvE, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.
Must be a lot of money. More people game on PC than all of the consoles put together.
Of course, but every gamer isn't playing Bloodborne or Pokemon. A wad of exclusivity cash from Nintendo could be plenty for them to make up the difference of not being able to dip into other console markets.
Apparently FS is keeping the IP for The Duskbloods, though. So there is a non-zero chance it'll be released on other platforms in the future. We'll have to wait and see.
Also, Octopath 1 is on steam.
