Ultrawide support?
Anyone have any clue about this? Base game Elden Ring does not natively support 21:9/31:9 and requires you to disable EAC and use external modifications to remove black bars. Is there any official info out there on whether this game will be the same or not?

Lol no, they are a ♥♥♥♥ dev team.
nope love the game but ^ is right these devs suck 60 fps lock and no support for anything. It blows cause this is the best looking game at 21:9 at 100 fps in seamless coop it's the only way i play now.
sadly probably not, It sucks when games from the 2000s work better with UW then Elden Ring :P Love Fromsoft games but there PC ports are really lackluster in customization.
I play 32:9 never going back to peasant

On some presentation it's run in cinema 21:9 resolution so if they didn't put the black bars to just punish PC as they do before

it seems we will get proper port and if not.. and they do the silly part - it will again force us to use seamless coop or smh.
What is with these devs and being against UW??? It's not like it even gives an advantage really, pros don't play in UW. It's for immersion, not competitive advantage.

it's PVE game and all competive games have support for 21:9 ( league of legends, you see barely 3 turrets on 31:9, dota, cs, cod, ow, rivals, apex) and even 31:9 so it's woke morality - created by a person that think he is better than others in a game with a situational and ocassional PVP where most of the time i don't even care about my win/lose but about immersion as it's RPG.
anyway you are right fully - it's not "fish eye" so it's not giving more corner view - so you can't see upcoming invade even in PVP if it's in 90 angle - and only in the front of you. Before it was that woke morality about "adventages" - where even MOB'a games wher you see entire lane have support for 32:9.

But hey
there's hope like in link it was in 21:9 aspect ratio on some presentation and they can't now say it's P2W (like it's not in any other competive game with rankeds)

Seamless fracturing the playerbase would be funny af for this title lol
Found a petition for enabling ultrawide support in Eldenring Nightreign. If you can spare 2 minutes and sign it and share, then we're one step closer to enjoying this and future fromsoft game in all it's beautiful ultrawide magnificence https://chng.it/bNHjnPfMJT
Nothing will happen. There were similar calls for Elden Ring, and FS didn't give a damn.
waiting for flawless widescreen to update with this game

The instagram video in the reddit post is just normal 16:9 lol, its not even 21:9
Im sure all 5 people who use ultra wide monitors are eagerly anticipating if they add it.
This game would look so nice if it fit on my monitor.

Say I'm not a competitive PC gamer without saying I'm not a competitive PC gamer...
